Since its inception in 2017, our Guitars for Kids program has provided more than 2500 free guitars and over 250,000 hours of free music lessons to kids and schools across the south.

Songbirds Foundation was created to help combat the decline in music funding in public schools and has grown to serve over 4000 students each year.

Songbirds is partnered with UTC's Music Therapy program where we teach guitar to students who will become the next generation of certified music therapists.

Write to Rock gives elementary students the chance to write a song with the help of professional musicians, producers, and writers.

The program culminates with a showcase of the students' work performed by a full band in front of their friends and family.

Music Industry Master Class

Songbirds now offers a series of Music Industry Master Classes for high schoolers. These students work with a professional artist through the entire process of creating and releasing a song.
