Songbirds has opened 5 new celebrity guitar exhibits featuring Dolly Parton’s guitar as well as her dress, Richard Lloyd of Television, Simon Tam of The Slants, as well as a newly-redesigned expanded display of Duane Allman’s famous 1961 Gibson Les Paul/SG.

What’s in the box?!? 30 new Gibson Epiphones for Cleveland High School, right next door to Chattanooga! We find our Guitars for Kids initiative spreading all over the southeast, but it’s always extra special when we get a request close to home.

We were featured in The Bluegrass Situation on their quest to discover the vast music history across east Tennessee, noting our exhibits on the guitars of Duane Allman and Merle Travis.

15 of our generously donated Gibson Epiphones now live in the music department of Lewis County Middle School in Hohenwald, TN. All thanks to teacher Joe Ahne for reaching out to us and becoming a Guitars for Kids partner.
