Local musicians Randy Steele, Bindy, & Fawley will take the Songbirds stage in an intimate listening-room vibe. Think NPR's TinyDesk meets a TED Talk. At Sessions, inspiration meets creativity and captivating musical performances intertwine with powerful ideas.

Lenox Hills with Solstice
A Nashville rock duo with a raucous yet dynamic sound, Lenox Hills was founded in Chattanooga by brothers Luke and Packy Mullin. Whether they’re shaking their amps until the casings start to crack or drawing back to expose the underlying vulnerability which seeps into every corner of their music, they never allow for the music to remain motionless.

Kasvot Chätt and Three Star Revival
Come rock with Kasvot Chätt, this city’s first and only Phish tribute band! They’ll be keeping it fresh, fun, and a little unpredictable. Plus an opening set by Three Star Revival whose meaningful lyrics, catchy melodies, and soulful musicianship take the listener across a plethora of genres including funk, rock, soul, jazz, americana, and pop.

Paul Childers feat. A Stevie Ray Vaughan Set
Blending Pop, R&B, and Soul, Paul Childers is leading a new breed of singer/songwriters and guitarists. Hailing from Nashville, he finds a way to blur the lines between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix styles of guitar playing, a Motown rhythm section, and pop vocal melodies.

The Unsatisfied
The Unsatisfied is a post-punk/hard rock band from Chattanooga, TN renowned for their powerful live shows, clever compositions, and creative branding. Founded in 1986, the band began in the southern underground music scene and ascended to greater acclaim, fast becoming darlings of New York/New Rock and the CBGB's punk scene.

Jeremy Would Let Me Drown: GRUNGE UNPLUGGED
Jeremy Would Let Me Drown brings you the music of three pioneers of the grunge rock movement: Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden. Now performing with a special format, Jeremy proudly presents GRUNGE UNPLUGGED, akin to the "MTV Unplugged" series from the early 90s, featuring acoustic and stripped-down versions of your favorite hits from Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden.

East Nash Grass
East Nash Grass is one of the hottest young bands in Bluegrass, picking up this year’s International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist. They now find themselves one of the most in-demand groups in Americana, fanning out well beyond the traditional bluegrass spots. Audiences freak out over how much fun these guys have on stage!

Youth Talent Show
Songbirds welcomes you back to our beloved biannual Youth Talent Showcase on Thursday, April 24th! This special event is designed to give middle and high school students the opportunity to perform on a professional stage and gain real-world industry experience. Angel Snow with Fawley
Angel Snow's catalogue spans four full-length records over the course of 15 years and eludes quick and easy categorization. After her first self-titled debut and resisting all attempts to pigeonhole her style as Americana, Snow leaned heavily on her early teenaged electronic influences for her sophomore effort. Snow’s latest album release, Yesterday Is Here, finds her at what is perhaps her most vulnerable, with an emotional 10-song tribute to Tom Waits. Snow's entire discography viewed as a whole puts her in good company, easily comparable to such artists as Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, and Peter Gabriel.

Sons of Habit
Sons of Habit gets their name from the trailer where the band first started making music on a piece of land in Habit, KY. The band’s organic beginnings can be heard in their music and felt in their live show, where they exude a natural chemistry. Sons of Habit’s debut project, Nostalgia, includes five new songs and is out now on all streaming platforms.

Tinsley Ellis
Atlanta-based blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter Tinsley Ellis has been recording and traveling the world for over four decades, delivering his feral, guitar-fueled, original electric blues-rock to ever-growing audiences at concert halls, festivals, and clubs. According to Tinsley, his new first-ever solo acoustic album, Naked Truth, is both “a departure and an arrival.”

Gareth Pearson is referred to as “The Welsh Tornado” which is particularly appropriate, seeing as this special talent combines fingerstyle pyrotechnics, with explosive lead runs making Pearson one of the most exciting acoustic musicians gigging today.

Austin Meade
Austin Meade’s music overflows with wide‑open soulfulness. After finding his true voice playing guitar as a teen in his pastor‑father’s church, those experiences lend both a gravitas and rebelliousness to Meade’s songs and self. Now he’s the frontman of his own band slinging guitar licks with expert precision, seamlessly blending genres into a groovy yet piercingly fresh sound of rock 'n' roll.

Gangstagrass
Gangstagrass is a genre-demolishing new formula, taking full advantage of the improvisational aspects of both hip-hop and bluegrass. With mastermind Rench on guitar and beats, MCs R-SON and Dolio the Sleuth trading verses, Dan Whitener on banjo, B.E. Farrow on fiddle, and frequent three-part harmonies, the Gangstagrass stage show has garnered a reputation among fans for its dynamism and spontaneity. You have to see it to believe it.

Brass Against
In an effort to use music to make a statement and inspire change, Brass Against has grown into a dynamic, revolving kaleidoscope of like-minded souls. Known for their viral covers of Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, etc., the collective is composed of mostly professional jazz musicians, allowing creativity, flexibility and inclusivity among the group and differentiating themselves from the usual all-male rock bands.

Into The Fog
Into The Fog is a psychedelic jamgrass band from Raleigh, North Carolina that combines timeless songwriting with progressive instrumentation and tight harmonies. The trio’s members have varied musical backgrounds that range from bluegrass to funk, which helps create Into The Fog’s genre-jumping sound.

Le Gato and Fresh Mind
Le Gato is a dynamic quintet that brings a fusion of funk, jazz, and progressive rock to life. The band's tight rhythms, soulful melodies, and intuitive compositions will keep you hooked! Fresh Mind’s music incorporates hints of reggae, rock, jazz and pop, and their high energy performances will have you jamming all night! Born and raised in Jamaica, their front man James Snider incorporates Jamaican vibes in their music with reggae rhythms and steel pan solos.

Ben Van Winkle: Love Songs In Blue
"Love Songs In Blue" is a new project by nationally recognized pianist and composer Tim Hinck, singing cellist Ben Van Winkle, and percussionist Spencer West. Drawing equally from their jazz and classical backgrounds and relying heavily on Van Winkle's expressive vocal technique, the trio has crafted a set of love songs just for you.

The Georgia Thunderbolts
The Georgia Thunderbolts are a critically acclaimed and internationally touring band with a brand new album, Rise Above It All—an artistically assured collection of hard-hitting Southern rock, blues, and heartfelt Americana. It’s hard not to be a Dusty Leigh Huston fan. With a catalog ranging from heart-felt ballads to in-your-face rock and roll, and the ability to deliver every song with unbridled passion, Dusty has become somewhat of a juggernaut in the Indie music scene. There is an obvious mashup of traditional country and vintage rock running through her veins that permeates her music and appeals to an increasingly diverse audience.

Brandon Davis
After a nearly fatal car crash back in 2019, country musician Brandon Davis realized just how short life can be and was determined not to waste another minute. With the support of his wife and family, he picked up his guitar, gave his music career another shot, and began releasing song after song that quickly caught the attention of millions. Davis has now scored a sweet deal with Nashville-based Big Yellow Dog Music, further securing his place in Country music.

Write to Rock Showcase
We are so proud to announce the completion of our second semester of Songbirds’ Write to Rock program. We’ve renewed our partnership with East Side Elementary and added Hardy Elementary to our roster this fall! Write to Rock is a five-week afterschool workshop where students work with seasoned songwriting professionals to create their very own musical masterpieces. The program will wrap on Thursday, December 5th with a live celebratory showcase at Songbirds where a full band performs the students’ songs!
