Mitch Rossell’s career continues to thrive. His prolific songwriting and unique artistry have won over hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners across streaming services. Rossell was also on the 2023 season of America’s Got Talent, where his original music wowed the judges and captured the hearts of millions across the world. With plans to release a new album and tour the country in 2025, Rossell will be one to watch for as a force in country music.

Nashville indie-rock duo Lenox Hills brings their Southern grit, reverb-soaked guitars, and emotionally charged songwriting to the stage for one night only. Fresh off the release of their breakout singles “Just Like In December” and “Are We Good To Go?”, the Mullin brothers are carving out a space where driving rhythms meet moody textures.

Chattanooga band, Pinch Hitter, is celebrating their latest album release for Songs From My Big Brain—come party with us! Pinch Hitter is the indie rock vehicle for songwriter Spencer Clayton Blake, a middle Tennessee native who has spent the past five years immersing himself in the Chattanooga music scene. This new album explores various eras of rock & blues and stretches the limits of the band’s sound.

Sons of Habit gets their name from the trailer where the band first started making music on a piece of land in Habit, KY. The band’s organic beginnings can be heard in their music and felt in their live show, where they exude a natural chemistry. Sons of Habit’s debut project, Nostalgia, includes five new songs and is out now on all streaming platforms.

Folk/Rock duo Jennifer Daniels and Jeff Neal have delighted audiences for twenty-seven years and show no signs of letting up. With songs that remind us how to be human, scorching licks on electric guitar, and plenty of laughter to go around, this dynamic duo returns to Songbirds to celebrate the release of Snatcher’s Ridge.

Fiery roots-rock singer/songwriter Scott Miller has returned to his native Virginia while continuing to release and perform new music informed by that rural area, history, and Appalachia. The Staunton native first made a name for himself in the 90s as guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with the superb pop/rock band the V-Roys before establishing himself as a gifted and eclectic storytelling solo artist.

Based out of Chattanooga, TN, Et Cetera is an invigorating and extensive exploration into a broad spectrum of musical genres. Et Cetera takes the listener on a musical journey touching on influences from rock, jazz, country, and even classical music, all wrapped up in a tight groove that both captivates and moves audiences.

Twen is a van-lifeing duo-led 5 piece band with a distinct blend of shoegaze, indie rock, and post-punk influences. Twen’s dynamic live show exhibits their all-around relevance as a DIY rock band thriving in the digital age—booking their own tours, designing and screen printing their own merch, directing and editing their own music videos, and producing and mixing their own albums.

Angel Snow's catalogue spans four full-length records over the course of 15 years and eludes quick and easy categorization. After her first self-titled debut and resisting all attempts to pigeonhole her style as Americana, Snow leaned heavily on her early teenaged electronic influences for her sophomore effort. Snow’s latest album release, Yesterday Is Here, finds her at what is perhaps her most vulnerable, with an emotional 10-song tribute to Tom Waits. Snow's entire discography viewed as a whole puts her in good company, easily comparable to such artists as Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, and Peter Gabriel.

Inspired by the burgeoning art scene, close knit community, and natural beauty of Asheville, North Carolina, Fireside Collective has become a true hybrid band over the course of a decade, with a strong foundation in bluegrass and folk, and healthy doses of rock n’ roll and funk, all blended together in a unique and colorful amalgam of original music.

The Banshees, formed in 2023, are an innovative indie rock band who draw on influences from their past and formative years. Songwriter John Daly moved to the United States from his native Tipperary, Ireland in 2006, and took with him a catalogue of songs. Through the certainty of chance, he happened upon Jeff Grizzard (lead guitar/vocals), Brandon McDaniel (bass), Grant Fletcher (drums), and Phil Moody (keys) while buzzing around the Chattanooga, TN music scene, uncovering a unique musical chemistry together.

We are so proud to announce the completion of our third semester of Songbirds’ Write to Rock program. We’ve renewed our partnership with East Side Elementary and added East Lake & Clifton Hills Elementary to our roster this spring! Write to Rock is a five-week afterschool workshop where students work with seasoned songwriting professionals to create their very own musical masterpieces. The program will wrap on Thursday, May 8th with a live celebratory showcase at Songbirds where a full band performs the students’ songs!

Sydney and Brayden use their unique sound, both vocally and instrumentally, to share their passion for community and their commitment to making sure youth, especially those struggling with their mental health, feel seen, heard, and loved.

This special event is designed to give middle and high school students the opportunity to perform on a professional stage and gain real-world industry experience. More than just a talent show, this event provides young musicians with the tools and mentorship needed to take their artistry to the next level.
