Cary Hudson & Katrina Miller

Proud to visit with Cary Hudson (Blue Mountain) and Katrina Miller after their show at Chattanooga Brewing Company last Sunday. Cary, who was voted #5 on Gibson's greatest alt-country guitarist of all-time, talks about Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" and the influence of Mother Maybelle Carter. Katrina educates us on the differences between the fiddle and violin. They play one of Cary's songs, "Cool Breeze" that was inspired by the great Mississippi John Hurt. This episode also features two fabulous guitars housed at the Songbirds Guitar Museum- a 1959 Tobacco Sunburst Gibson ES 335 TD and a 1964 Olympic White Gibson ES 335 TD along with Cary's 1937 Epiphone Olympic.
